Trucking comes with significant risks. Safeguard your trucks from third-party injuries and property damage by securing the proper liability insurance. We carefully assess your needs to provide coverage options that are both suitable and cost-effective.
Trucking involves significant risks, which is why comprehensive insurance is essential for any transportation business. This type of coverage expands the protection and limits of existing policies, offering security against third-party injuries, property damage, defamation, and more. It includes key benefits across Liability, General Liability, and Motor Truck Cargo Insurance.
MTC coverage—required for carriers depending on their classification—protects a client’s goods while in transit, during loading, or unloading, safeguarding them from physical loss or damage throughout the entire process.
Physical Damage is non-mandatory primary coverage protects the carrier’s own property—such as the truck and its equipment—against theft, fire, natural disasters, collisions, or overturns, ensuring the vehicle remains safeguarded at all times. It also works alongside Non-Trucking Liability coverage, which offers protection when the truck is being operated off-dispatch or for non-commercial purposes. Even if the tractor is hooked to an empty trailer, this liability coverage remains active, providing an extra layer of security whenever the vehicle is used outside of business operations.
Coverage that safeguards employees if they suffer a work-related injury, illness, or even death caused by an accident or occupational condition. Compensation is provided according to the policy’s established terms and conditions.
An extended coverage designed to increase the limits of two or more policies at the same time. It provides broad protection that includes injuries, property damage, lawsuits, and other liability exposures, offering a higher combined limit across multiple coverages.
Enhances the limit of one specific coverage selected by the client. This option gives trucking businesses an extra layer of protection for a single policy when higher liability limits are needed.
Provides Physical Damage (PD) protection for any type or number of trailers that are regularly exchanged during operations. Insurance companies require a Trailer Interchange Agreement to issue this coverage, and it becomes mandatory only for units still financed through a lending institution.
